Penitential processions on Holy Week in Andalucia, Malaga. During Semana Santa, from Palm Sunday (Jesus' entry into Jerusalem) to Resurrection Day (Easter Sunday), on the southern coast of Spain the port city of Malaga, on the south coast of the South the Passion of the Christ, in the tradition of the Inquisition. The city has forty-two and its Christian brotherhood held forty-five parades over seven days carrying life-like wooden sculptures and thrones weighing several tons through the streets of the city.
